Yes, who knows how it'll all end - and Malcolm isn't a really astute pollie*, not skilled in the really cunning political infighting - but for now it's a good result. (Here's some pretty good early analysis.)
*I mean he's not astute in internal party politics and back-stabbing - he's certainly astute enough not to have made any of our former PM's on-record blunders.
