Ah-okay? There's a bit of a personal story behind that feeling that's so personal I won't bother you with it. On the whole, thank goodness, maybe now folks will eventually stop calling our country just "Czech". And it really is awkward to have to write "Czech Republic" all the time. Doubly so for the English rule that says Republic has to be capitalised.
Although the worry, expressed in the comments, that this will have even more people confusing us with Chechnya, really is worrying.
