From hectic and uncomfortable times

I haven't posted here, or even read, for weeks - I regret all that I must have been missing, and I'll be trying to catch up when this friends-and-family crisis travelling stops.  (Not my own crises, but connections connect.)

Meantime, I was charmed by these very central australian "fairy circles" - or rather that they have been called such.  When I think of the lush green grass and tender toadstools of the other fairy rings, and compare with these spiky, arid evidences of otherworldliness, I can only laugh.  Oh, sunburnt country!  Never change.  :)
